Why it matters
Teenagers put down roots in a church where an adult knows their name and keeps showing up. This team is those adults, and for a lot of students it’s where faith starts being their own.
This team is for you if…
- You like teenagers. Not in theory — you actually like them.
- Approachable, and hard to shock.
- You’ll listen, laugh, and come back next week.
What you’d be doing
- Build real relationships with students on Sunday nights.
- Help lead games, small groups, hospitality, or worship.
- Encourage students in their own walk with Jesus.

The commitment
Sunday nights, 4:00–7:15 PM at our Mansfield location, every week. Encounter doesn’t run a rotation, so the same adults are there for the students every Sunday. If weekly is more than you can take on, the form has an option to help at special events instead.
